About the Role:
As the State Manager for Queensland, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Divisional Office in Queensland and you will manage and foster relationships with the local Divisional Council. You will work with your Regional Head to develop and implement data driven and member centric communications and engagement plans, and member experiences to drive engagement and retention in the state. You will work with Relationship Managers to drive and engage in the employer and tertiary activities and initiates that attract new member to CPA Australia.
You will also lead and coach the Member Services & Events team towards providing the best service to members’, and assist in the delivery of the member retention strategy planning and execution. You will lead the positive development of the operations and team culture through seeking and providing mentoring, time management, productivity improvements, all in a collaborative and constructive way.
About You:
You will come to us with experience in leading and managing teams in the membership engagement space.
You will also have:
- Demonstrated skills in motivating and influencing a team of staff and/or volunteers
- Proven ability to set clear expectations, delegate tasks, and ensure team members meet their goals
- Experience in performance evaluation and coaching of team members alongside strong decision making skills and the ability to lead
- Experience developing and implementing membership engagement and retention strategies
- Proficiency in analysing data and metrics
- Experience in organizing events and activities that foster member participation
- Demonstrable skills in representing an organisation to the public, government agencies, and other internal and external stakeholders
- Effective communication including the ability to delivery persuasive presentations
