Working within our Policy, Standards and External Affairs (PSEA) business unit, you will play a pivotal part in a new pilot content program launching in Q1 2026. You’ll work closely with internal experts in accounting, education and policy, as well as external media and production partners, to coordinate and create impactful content—particularly video for YouTube—that engages our members, influences decision‑makers and strengthens our reputation as a trusted authority in accounting and finance. You’ll also collaborate with colleagues across our international markets to help develop tailored content that resonates with their local audiences.
This role is an initial 12 month contract
Your day to day duties will include:
- Develop and implement digital content plans aligned with CPA Australia’s policy, advocacy, thought leadership, membership and education priorities
- Plan and schedule content across web, social media, print and multimedia channels, including repurposing for maximum reach
- Coordinate production schedules, stakeholder input, approvals, suppliers and campaign deliverables
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to produce interviews, news pieces, explainers and event or campaign videos
- Assist in developing video and live-stream conte2nt with subject‑matter experts
- Monitor digital content performance and analytics to inform ongoing optimisation
- Work cross‑functionally with accounting, policy and education experts, communications specialists and senior leaders
About you:
- Experience creating and coordinating digital content, ideally in membership, advocacy, communications or marketing environments
- Hands‑on experience with video production (shooting and editing), including tools such as Premiere or Final Cut Pro
- Experience with web and analytics tools
- Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to translate technical or policy content for broad audiences
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Experience engaging with subject-matter experts and diverse internal stakeholders
- Ideally an understanding of public policy, advocacy or financial services
- Familiarity with CMS and project management platforms
- Experience supporting livestreams or webinars
