About the role:
Reporting to our Head of Procurement, Property and Facilities, you will be responsible for providing commercial acumen, leadership and strategic direction across a portfolio of indirect supply categories. You will be responsible for providing specialist advice to business stakeholders in the planning and execution of key procurement initiatives, with a focus on achieving high quality, fit for purpose sourcing outcomes that drive value for money for CPA Australia.
This is an initial fixed term contract until June 2027
Your day to day duties wil include:
- Lead sourcing activities including tenders, RFPs and RFQs.
- Negotiate complex commercial arrangements to achieve value for money.
- Draft and manage contracts in collaboration with Legal.
- Identify cost savings and efficiency opportunities.
- Monitor supplier performance, manage issues and mitigate risks.
- Develop and manage category strategies aligned to business needs.
- Provide regular reporting on benefits, risks and opportunities.
- Build strong stakeholder relationships and embed early procurement engagement.
About You
- 5+ years’ procurement experience with end‑to‑end sourcing capability.
- Strong commercial, negotiation and contract management skills.
- Proven ability to deliver strategic sourcing outcomes.
- Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management.
- Strong analytical capability and attention to detail.
- Advanced MS Office skills.
- Collaborative, organised, resilient and proactive “can‑do” mindset.
