THE OPPORTUNITY
This role is accountable for the creation and maintenance of inventory master data (‘cataloguing’) for CS Energy to ensure that information regarding inventory items is accurate, up to date and is the source of truth for business decision making. In addition the role will provide end user education on the SAP cataloguing system, and support the wider supply chain development and inventory improvements under the Procurement Centre of Excellence.
This position could be based in Brisbane or Callide Power Station.
ABOUT YOU
To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and experience:
- Significant experience (10+ years) in master data governance, spare parts material cataloguing and materials management in a mining/utilities or engineering environment
- Extensive working knowledge of ERP systems, MRP functionality, inventory cataloguing management standards and processes
- Familiarity with parts naming nomenclature and systems and standards such as NATO/NSN, Oniqua Standards Dictionary, ECCMA(eOTD), UNSPSC
- Experience in SAP MRP
- Experience in master data validation
