CS Energy is a Queensland Government-owned energy company whose primary business is generating and selling electricity into the National Electricity Market. It operates across Central Queensland, the Western Downs, and South-East Queensland (SEQ), supplying almost a quarter of the state’s electricity. It also provides retail electricity to large commercial and industrial business customers and through a 50/50 joint venture with Alinta Energy to serve residential and small business customers in SEQ.
