THE OPPORTUNITY
Are you a seasoned communication specialist with a knack for engaging and informing teams through change? We're looking for you to execute our Internal Communication strategy, working closely with our newly established Transformation Office, the Digital & Technology team, and Change Management team.
Your ability to develop positive relationships, influence stakeholders, and seamlessly switch between project-specific and general communication tasks will be key. This permanent position offers a competitive salary and a friendly, rewarding work environment.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Deliver communication and engagement support for the Transformation Office so it can effectively drive business change and improvement.
- Provide communication support for major digital and technology projects, with a priority on supporting the ERP implementation project.
- Support the Manager of Engagement and Employee Communication in building awareness and backing for our strategy and values.
- Collaborate with Corporate Affairs team for cohesive messaging.
- Manage and contribute to internal communication channels: weekly briefs, newsletters, digital noticeboards, and more.
- Maintain the internal communication content calendar with regular profiles and success highlights.
- Create content that promotes awareness of CS Energy’s strategy and priorities.
- Develop engaging content on new business, milestones, and major projects.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with key internal stakeholders.
- Assist leaders and experts in developing their communication and engagement activities.
- Develop communication guidelines and templates.
- Enhance employee communication through data analysis and best practices.
- Support employee communication related to energy transformation.
- Assist with CEO communications as needed.
- Ensure consistent use of CS Energy’s visual brand in all internal applications.

To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and experience:
- Degree qualified in communication, journalism, public relations or relevant discipline (humanities or social sciences).
- Proven experience in employee communication and engagement.
- Exposure to, and understanding of, working within an organisation with multiple functions, and multiple locations/unionised workforce.
- Proven experience in managing change and communication in technology projects.
- Proven experience in leading communication through a business transformation.
- Proven experience in Intranet content management.
- Proven experience in working with email distribution software, graphic design applications (Adobe and/or Canva preferred), and video production.
- Advanced PowerPoint skills.
- Exceptional writing skills with a demonstrated ability to write for different audiences and mediums.
- Excellent conceptual and analytical skills, with a proven ability to take complex topics and create simple, engaging content.
- Ability to learn and understand the different aspects of the electricity industry and how they relate to the key drivers of success for CS Energy.
- Strong ability to build positive relationships and influence people at all levels, adapting communication and engagement style accordingly.
- Strong ability to work well under pressure, balance priorities and meet tight timeframes.
- Strong ability to take initiative and drive continuous improvement.
