THE OPPORTUNITY


As an Early Careers Advisor, you will be the driving force behind our future talent. From apprenticeships and traineeships to graduate and internship programs, you will lead, shape, and elevate our early career initiatives with fresh ideas and strategic direction. Working across the business, including operational sites, you’ll become a trusted partner, aligning workforce capability with long term goals and building strong, influential relationships along the way.

In the role you will own the coordination of entry level programs, unlocking opportunities for recognition, growth, and personal development. You’ll energise our presence at careers fairs, WorldSkills competitions, development forums, and mentoring programs, bringing our brand to life and inspiring the next generation. As a champion of Inclusion & Diversity, you’ll help create a culture where early career talent feels valued, supported, and empowered.

With a strong commitment to continuous improvement, you will fine tune existing programs to enhance engagement and ensure they reflect our core values. Your insights and impact reporting will directly influence our people strategy, driving meaningful change and measurable results.


Duties include the below, but are not limited to:

  • Program Leadership: Oversee onboarding, registration, incentive claims, training plan development, and quality assurance for early career programs.
  • Training Support: Provide training activity support, including event coordination, record-keeping, and data entry within the Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Data-Driven Insights: Use HR data to identify learning and development needs, and design solutions that drive cultural and practical changes across the organisation.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build positive, long-standing relationships with internal teams, external service providers, schools, universities, and government agencies.

To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and experience:

  • Educational Background: Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Psychology, Adult Learning, or Organisational Development (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience: 5+ years in Human Resources, Training, or Organisational Development. Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate HR data into actionable insights.
  • Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel). Highly organised with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
  • Attributes: High attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity. Strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
  • Travel: Must have the flexibility to travel to our sites a few times per month to support programs and build effective relationships with stakeholders.
