Director (m/f/x), HAE / ANDEMBRY Brand Lead

International Marketing | Hereditary Angioedema

THE OPPORTUNITY

Shape the international HAE portfolio strategy and growth of ANDEMBRY, while defining the complementary positioning of ANDEMBRY and BERINERT across the patient journey. Partner across markets and functions to translate a strong portfolio and brand vision into locally relevant, compliant and measurable execution.

Role purpose

The Director, HAE / ANDEMBRY Brand Lead is responsible for developing and implementing the HAE disease-area and ANDEMBRY brand strategy for the International region. The role drives sustainable growth through market expansion, brand adoption and launch excellence, while shaping the complementary positioning of ANDEMBRY and BERINERT within the HAE portfolio. This requires a consistent international direction that affiliates can adapt to diverse local market needs.

As the marketing subject-matter expert and go-to partner for affiliates, the Director leads the ANDEMBRY International Brand Team (IBT) and enables cross-functional co-creation with affiliate teams, International Marketing and Global Commercial Development. The role translates strategy into integrated portfolio playbooks, programs and capabilities that affiliates can localize and execute effectively.

Key responsibilities

Leadership and portfolio ownership

  • Lead the development of the HAE disease-area and ANDEMBRY brand strategy for the International region, including a clear and complementary positioning of ANDEMBRY and BERINERT, aligned with portfolio objectives, patient and customer needs, market dynamics, healthcare regulations and business goals.
  • Act as the marketing subject-matter expert and trusted business partner for affiliates, creating clarity, confidence and momentum around portfolio strategy and brand priorities.
  • Lead the ANDEMBRY IBT, including strategic agenda setting, decision-making, action follow-up and accountability for execution.
  • Champion a collaborative, high-performing and continuously improving culture across the international HAE brand community.

Strategy, insights and lifecycle management

  • Develop differentiated strategies for prioritized market archetypes and ensure affiliates are mapped to the most relevant approach, including market-specific guidance for the complementary positioning of ANDEMBRY and BERINERT.
  • Translate patient, customer, market and competitive insights into clear portfolio and brand choices, positioning, messaging and actionable marketing priorities across ANDEMBRY and BERINERT.
  • Help affiliate teams identify near- and longer-term opportunities, challenges and solutions, moving confidently between big-picture strategy and detailed execution.
  • Identify lifecycle-management and market-development opportunities that strengthen the long-term value and presence of the HAE portfolio.

Cross-functional and external collaboration

  • Partner closely with affiliate leadership and cross-functional colleagues across Medical, Market Access, Regulatory, Insights and Analytics, Business Effectiveness, Omnichannel, Supply Chain and other relevant functions.
  • Enable co-creation of aligned portfolio strategies, programs and initiatives across affiliate, International and Global teams, with clear roles and shared accountability.
  • Build strong relationships with relevant external stakeholders, including healthcare professionals and professional, medical and patient organizations, in accordance with applicable policies and regulations.

Execution and performance

  • Develop customer-focused brand plans, integrated portfolio playbooks, programs and tactics that enable affiliates to communicate the distinct and complementary roles of ANDEMBRY and BERINERT through locally relevant, compliant execution.
  • Support launch readiness and post-launch optimization by identifying market needs, capability gaps, interdependencies and execution risks early.
  • Establish meaningful metrics and KPIs, review portfolio and brand performance and market feedback, and adapt strategies and programs to improve impact.
  • Promote effective practice sharing and scalable solutions across markets, including successful approaches to ANDEMBRY and BERINERT co-positioning, while preserving local relevance and compliance.

Budget, resources and compliance

  • Own and manage the international HAE / ANDEMBRY marketing budget, allocating resources to the highest-value priorities and monitoring spend and return on investment.
  • Ensure marketing resources and agency support are used effectively, identifying and addressing capability or resource gaps.
  • Ensure all activities and communications comply with applicable laws, regulations, industry standards and company policies.
  • Champion ethical, accurate and transparent marketing that reflects the needs of patients and healthcare professionals.

Qualifications and experience

  • Graduate degree or equivalent required; postgraduate qualification preferred.
  • At least 10 years of healthcare experience, including at least 8 years in pharmaceutical or biotechnology sales and marketing.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish disease-area, portfolio and brand strategy, translate insights into action and drive executional excellence against business objectives.
  • Experience leading above-country marketing initiatives and influencing diverse, multicultural matrix teams; rare-disease, portfolio and launch experience are strongly preferred.
  • Strong strategic, analytical and commercial capabilities, with the ability to connect patient and customer needs, market dynamics and performance data.
  • Excellent project and stakeholder-management skills, including delivery of complex, multi-market initiatives from concept through implementation.
  • Experience using CRM, omnichannel and other data-driven tools to strengthen customer engagement and inform decision-making.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
