The Opportunity:
CSL has an opportunity available for a Scientist to join the Bioanalytical GMP Testing group within CSL R&D Recombinant Product Development, Parkville. Working with other scientists, you will perform routine GMP batch testing to help develop recombinant protein products and other biopharmaceuticals, and assisting the Transfer and Qualification (TAQ) team in the qualification and transfer of analytical methods, and analytical instrument qualification.
Your Main Responsibilities:
- Perform routine GMP and non-GMP testing, reporting results into relevant database systems
- Maintain laboratory quality systems, instruments, and records of analytical results
- Prepare reports, test methods and data collection forms
- Help raise and manage quality deviations and change controls
- Help with the transfer of test methods to other test sites
- Perform assay qualification tasks
- Provide support for equipment qualification
Your Skills and Experience:
- Tertiary Qualification in relevant field (Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical)
- 3+ years of experience working with assays such as (but not constrained to) HPLC, Capillary Electrophoresis, ELISA, chromogenic assays, and UV spectrophotometry
- Experience working in a GMP/ GxP environment
- Ability to develop analytical test procedures and experience in analytical method qualification will be highly regarded
