The Opportunity
CSL is hiring an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to oversee the asset management of specified plants via 3rd contractors for the Broadmeadow site foundation Main HV & LV infrastructure & Back-up facilities.
You will work in the Electrical Maintenance Group within Maintenance & Utilities - M2U. This group provides the services to support and maintain all the HV, Main LV, Back-up Facilities and Field Bus network infrastructures on site. This includes the management of the Preventative Maintenance program, provision of shift operation support and general E&I technical support. Technical inputs for assisting in design reviews, commissioning, and project handover are all expected support activities for other Engineering value streams.
Reporting directly to the Sr. Electrical Engineering Manager, you will also ensure the safe and successful implementation of shutdown activities in the allotted time within budget.
The Role
- Maintenance planning, scheduling and management of both internal and external third - party contractors
- Major facility shutdown management and coordination
- Engineering Stores management to ensure critical spare parts availability
- Technical support for Execution Systems and Project Delivery Engineering value streams
- General site facility maintenance management
- Assist in the financial planning and management for the Engineering departments expense and capital budgets
Your Skills and Experience
- Degree in Engineering (preferably in the electrical discipline) together with eligibility for professional membership of the Institution of Engineers, Australia or other relevant qualification with demonstrated experience
- A minimum of five years relevant experience, preferably in a maintenance environment.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- A sound knowledge of plant fault diagnostic methods.
- Familiarity with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems – SAP Fiori preferred.
- HV Operators license is preferred
- Working knowledge of PLCs and Field Bus Networks
