The Opportunity

We have this excellent opportunity to join our influenza vaccine manufacturing as a full-time, permanent Production Operator with the USEP team. You will be working at our Parkville site and required to work rotating 5 day shifts with flexible start times between 6.30am - 12.00pm, and the ability to work weekend shifts is required. Our production runs 7 days per week.

The Role

Reporting to the team leader you will be working collaboratively with a diverse team and play an integral part in meeting our production schedules. Responsibilities will include:

• Tasks associated with influenza vaccine production
• Working with equipment including autoclaves, bottle washers and Ultrasonic baths
• Working with raw material, disinfecting, bottles, glass and garment segregation
• Completion of batch documentation
• Perform and document in-process quality checks according to SOP requirements
• Routine end of day cleaning
• Personal Protective Clothing and Equipment (PPCE) is required for many of the activities
• Completing tasks in accordance with cGMP, Seqirus Quality Management System, Regulatory requirements as well as Seqirus Environmental Health and Safety requirements

Your skills and experience

• Manufacturing, warehouse or stock control experience in Pharmaceutical, Food manufacturing or similar ideal
• Demonstrated knowledge of GMP and production processes
• Experience with equipment, autoclave and sterilisation Grade D well regarded
• Proven ability to work under pressure with high attention to detail
• Effective communication skills essential, with good literacy and numeracy
• Ability to collaborate well within a team and across all levels of the organisation
• Flexibility and adaptability
• Experience working to timelines and tight schedules
