The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Global Mobility & Relocation Specialist to join our team for a 22-month fixed term contract to cover a period of maternity leave.
Reporting to the Head of Global Mobility, you will be the first point of contact for managers, HR colleagues and employees in the APAC region providing Global Mobility policy guidance and structured support together with CSL's immigration, tax and relocation vendors. Working as part of a global team with peers in EMEA and the Americas, you will provide guidance and advice to CSL's international talent inbound into and within the APAC region.
You are very familiar with current global mobility practices and challenges and have an excellent understanding of immigration and tax compliance requirements alongside excellent collaboration and numeracy skills.

The Role
- Manage international assignment and relocation program in the APAC region. This includes preparing cost estimates, assignment and relocation offers, reporting, and tracking by utilising CSL's mobility policies, processes and systems.
- Collaborate with HR Business Partners, HR Operations, Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Benefits and Payroll teams in respect of assignment initiations, review and approval of assignment documentation and related arrangements.
- Coordinate initiations and service delivery with external providers for destination and relocation services, tax and immigration advice.
- Support the roll-out of the new mobility policies and processes throughout the APAC region.
- Develop practical solutions to complex and sometimes unforeseen challenges associated with Global Mobility.
- Monitor region specific country immigration legislation changes and market trends.
Your skills and experience
- 2+ years' experience in an HR role focused on global mobility responsibilities, ideally full-time.
- Understanding of the Australian immigration system, and also exposure to other immigration environments in APAC (incl. China, Hong Kong, Japan and Singapore)
- Experience in collaborating with multiple HR COE areas, such as Compensation, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, and Payroll.
- Driven and work self-sufficiently whilst being able to identify when collaboration or escalation is required.
- Competent in the use of case management systems and HR portal technology.
- Promote great customer service and operational excellence.
- High competency in Microsoft excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets and perform complex functions) coupled with numeracy skills.
- Maintain integrity when dealing with confidential information.
- Foreign language capabilities desirable.
