The Opportunity
Come and join the CSL Behring Quality team based in Broadmeadows (Australia) on a full-time permanent basis as a Quality Assurance Associate. You will ensure the appropriate quality of systems and processes, review compliance with any applicable CSL standards and procedures, and you will review and approve batch related records. You will also support quality risk assessments, non-conformances, CAPAs, and the monitoring and continuous improvement of quality performance metrics. Specifically, will gain valuable technical knowledge as you support the Bulk & Recombinant Value Stream.
The Role
In this varied site-based quality role you will report to the Associate Director, Value Stream QA Bulk Lead to:
- Oversee all production and support related activities to provide real time (GEMBA) and post event review of process steps;
- Ensure the appropriate review and approval of batch related quality records;
- Support quality risk assessments, non-conformances, and, CAPAs;
- Support monitoring and continuous improvement of quality performance metrics.
Your skills and experience
To be considered for this role you have:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Science, Engineering, Biotechnology, Biological Sciences, Pharmaceutical science or equivalent qualification or experience;
- Three (3) or more years' experience working in a similar role;
- Experience in operational pharmaceutical manufacturing, technical support and manufacturing, and ideally the manufacture and packaging of blood products;
- Experience in Pharmaceutical Quality and compliance, Health authority expectations and inspections and the manufacture and packaging of blood products;
- Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office suit including Outlook, Word, Visio and Excel and electronic document management systems (eDMSs).
