The Opportunity
We are looking for Production Coordinator to join our manufacturing Privigen Filling department at our Broadmeadows site. Reporting to the Manufacturing Area Manager you will be responsible to co-ordinate activities within a production team to manufacture a range of therapeutic products.
- Plan, direct and oversee the operations of the relevant Manufacturing area, inclusive of day to day running, planning, and maintaining QMS systems, procedures and policies for equipment preparation, Aseptic Filling
- Ensure that all staff are adequately trained and a culture of compliance and continuance improvement programs
- Produce products that meet the necessary regulatory and customer requirements
The Role
- Plan, direct and control activities for the manufacturing team to meet the Master Production Schedule and the forecasted product demand
- Co-ordinate process development and innovation within the manufacturing plant
- Ensure staff under your supervision is appropriately trained to conduct their duties in a GMP compliant manner
- Ensure staff under your supervision is compliant with company policies, safety standards and good house-keeping practices
- Monitor departmental measurements (KPI’s) that support the accomplishment of the department and company’s strategic goals
- Build and maintain strong lateral relationships with internal stakeholders to secure support to meet the department’s business needs and objectives
- Drive continuous improvement activities to enhance quality, process and yield improvements for products manufactured within the department
Your skills and experience
- Preferred tertiary qualification in science/engineering/business or related discipline
- Demonstrated SME in a relevant pharmaceutical field
- Superior technical skills in Manufacturing and Quality processes and systems
- Experience within a pharmaceutical or allied industry involving line management
- Supervision of a manufacturing team
- Extensive knowledge of cGMP
