The Opportunity
With the growth in our Australian business, a newly created role is available for you to be the main technical interface for our Bulk and Fill Finish manufacturing operations and projects. This will initially be a 12-month fixed term contract
Reporting to the Senior Director of Process Engineering, you will support our site completing a significant expansion of our manufacturing volume and output for CSL Australia. You will bring leadership and your technical know-how to enhance the site's capability to manufacture parenteral life-saving products.
The Role
- Provide leadership and technical expertise of our Bulk and Fill and Finish areas
- Guide decision-making for managing important projects, recurring deviations, changes and complex investigations
- Important contributor and single point of contact for manufacturing value streams with relation to manufacturing performance and improvements to meet our site goals
- Lead network level investigations, understand site and global impacts
- Lead role in internal and external audits
- Coordinate with global colleagues and partners to maintain agreement and best practice
Your experience
- Technical expertise in pharmaceutical or complex process industry
- Hands-on and practical approach to technical support of manufacturing
- Worked in areas that intersect across two or more of the following areas Operations, Quality, Engineering and Science
- An ability to influence senior partners, facilitate best practice and lead sound and timely decision-making and implementation
- Degree qualification in Science, Engineering, or related technical field
