The Opportunity
CSL Behring is recruiting for an Operational Readiness Lead – BACE II to join our team in our Manufacturing function at our Broadmeadows site. Reporting to the Director, Filling Operations this exciting role is a 3 year fixed term position and will support the Broadmeadows Albumin Capacity Expansion. You will provide subject matter expertise and leadership for the implementation of the filling, pasteurisation and incubation equipment during the BACE II project phase and implement strategies in relation to change control, integration to the existing facility, people management and execution.
The Role
- Collaborate with Project Delivery, TT and VAL Teams to achieve important project deliverables and provide operational input and review of the design through to regulatory approvals
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with internal stakeholders to secure support in meeting the team’s weekly scheduled deliverables
- Work collaboratively to deliver the scheduled project implementation timeline in full and on time
- Establish effective communication between the project team and the operational team
- Implement a strategy to incorporate the BACE II systems and processes with the existing BACE I fill, pasteurisation and incubation area
- Establish project-based measurements (KPI’s) that help deliver the project’s goals in quality, EHS, financial, customer service and process improvement
Your skills and experience
- A tertiary qualification in science/engineering or relevant experience
- 5+ years’ experience working in a production environment
- Experience working in a large capital project
- Experience leading manufacturing and production operations and achieving operational targets
- Excellent documentation and technical writing skills
- Demonstrated ability to co-ordinate project activities and liaise across functional groups to meet project targets and objectives.
- Strong understanding of cGMP and quality systems including handling of process deviations, change controls and quality records
