Your role
CSL’s new state of the art Global Headquarters and Center for R&D has opened its doors to welcome the first of 800+ employees who will work in the 16-story building. The new facility will foster and support collaborations between academic biomedical research and industry, creating important linkages in the ‘benchtop to bedside’ translation of new medicines for unmet medical needs.
Reporting to the Technical Services Lead – Building Operations and Services, the Engineering Data Lead will provide support services to manage the Engineering Master Data in SAP and support systems and processes at CSL Melbourne.
Engineering data includes PM data such as Assets, Preventive Maintenance and Calibration data as well as IM data to support Engineering Materials (Spare Parts) in the Engineering Warehouse.
This role provides some working hour flexibility with occasional requirements for periods of overtime/weekend work.
Your Responsibilities
- Managing CSLM Engineering Master Data in SAP on-site & remote training and dissemination of reporting; including but not limited to:
- Modification / Creation / Deletion of all Engineering Data reporting timely & accurately
- Proactively identify potential risks and GMP deficiencies to processes and systems and ensure the implementation of appropriate measures to mitigate these risks / deficiencies in consultation with relevant stakeholders
- Development, maintenance and roll out of training programs to support effective, efficient and accurate use of SAP PM across CSLM. Ensure training requirements meet the needs of the roles, and training within the group remains current.
- Actively train and develop CSLM staff that require SAP Plant Maintenance module, and Global KPI’s, in use of engineering data reports. Support to develop and maintain procedures for the impacted areas
- Liaise with global teams to align reporting, analysis & training regimes. Develop, implement, maintain and publish maintenance reporting for access site wide. Established as CSLM SME for Global KPI reporting
Your Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or similar field preferred. Technical experience in pharmaceutical or regulated industry may be considered in lieu of an Engineering degree
- At least 3-5 years’ experience in SAP PM in either pharmaceutical or a similar regulated would be highly regarded
- Knowledge of complex engineering services and systems (e.g. WFI, PFS, HVAC)
- Understanding of regulatory/compliance codes for manufacturing and engineering (either GMP, GLP, GEP, ISO 9002, OH&S or TGA)
- Knowledge and understanding of PIC/s, ISPE guidelines and 21 CFR Part 11
- Strong writing skills as related to data compilation, document creation and report writing
- Knowledge on process flow diagrams and a basic understanding of piping and instrumentation diagrams (highly preferred)
- Excellent data analysis, trending and reporting/presentation skills
