The Opportunity
CSL Behring Australia is undergoing extensive and positive change as we expand and grow. In addition to contributing to Australia's export economy, CSL has invested and continues to invest in substantial new manufacturing facilities to support our global strategy and provide the network with crucial supply of product sourced from our Melbourne facility.
We are looking for an Operational Readiness Coordinator – Banksia Project to join our team at our Broadmeadows site. Reporting to the Project Banksia and Filling Operational Readiness Lead, you will co-ordinate the Operations activities required for commissioning and qualification of new equipment and software for the new filling line.
This exciting role is fixed term until 30 September 2025.
The Role
- Input to the Operational Readiness plan to ensure delivery to the project timelines and milestones for the manufacturing component of the new Filling Line.
- Manage key stakeholders and coordinating all subject matter expertise with regard to manufacturing processes, procedures and equipment operations
- Participate and drive the production activities required for commissioning, qualification and validation of new equipment, software and the manufacturing process for the Toll Filling facility
- Manage implementation of short to medium term changes in response to the manufacturing value stream priorities and provides expertise in the facilitation and analysis of all levels of deviation investigations within manufacturing
- Collaborate in the general project management of the new Filling lines to improve operational integrity and success, manage operational risks and safeguard health, safety and the working environment
- Ensure the project operations are fully integrated and aligned with the CSL Behring BMW and Process Migration strategies and procedures
Your skills and experience
- Tertiary qualification in science/engineering or related discipline
- 3+ years' experience in Aseptic Filling cGMP manufacturing, within a pharmaceutical production environment
- Demonstrated understanding of cGMP, regulatory requirements and relevant environmental, health and safety requirements in manufacturing areas
- Demonstrated ability leading semi-finished product manufacture within a pharmaceutical environment, preferably with products destined for US and European markets
- Proven ability of providing technical data during internal and external audits
