The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has become available in our Global Supply Chain function for a Senior Director Site Supply Chain to join our dynamic team. This leadership position ensures the Broadmeadows site meets CSL's supply requirements of both internal and external demand. You will lead the site customer (government) interactions with the Asia Pacific (APAC) commercial affiliates in the development, negotiation, and management of APAC Tolling contracts. You will also provide strategic direction for the supply planning, procurement, warehousing, logistics operations, materials lifecycle management and TOLL Logistics APAC regional contract management for the Broadmeadows site.

This influential role is a member of the Broadmeadows Site Leadership Team as well as a member of the Global Supply Chain Team with local and international focus.

The Role

• Responsible for the performance and development of direct reports and measuring performance and developing talent for future leadership roles.
• Collaborate with team members in developing and driving vision and strategies for the site that are aligned with the CSL Behring global vision and strategies.
• Lead site business development in collaboration with global and regional commercial operations.
• Site lead for all regional contract development, negotiation and management including the APAC Toll contracts manufactured at Broadmeadows deliver annual revenue and inventory objectives.
• Plan investments for the department in coordinating and collaborating with other site functions to deliver strategically aligned outcomes.
• Lead the Purchasing function in building strong vendor relationships to drive improvement in quality, delivery, and value of all purchased items.
• Work with Site and Global planning teams to ensure the Broadmeadows site capacity meets allocated demand requirements.
• Oversee the financial planning and performance of the site supply chain department.

Your skills and experience

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, technical or business discipline or comparable completed professional training with minimum of 10 years of professional experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a relevant industry in a senior management role providing departmental leadership.
• Strong focus on customer service and knowledge of supply chain management, supply chain processes, integrated business planning and/or Sales and operations planning.
• Knowledge and experience with ERP systems preferably cross functional understanding of SAP.
• Demonstrated financial budgeting and budget management.
