Lead the development, design, governance, implementation and continuous improvement of required Project Management Tools, Templates and standards for R&D to enable consistent, compliant, and high-quality project delivery across the R&D portfolio.

Your Responsibilities & Accountabilities

  • Design, develop, systematize and maintain a standardized suite of required tools, templates and supportive frameworks for R&D Project Management excellence.Primary focus is R&D Project Management within POE while serving as an extended Centre of Excellence on Project Management best practices across R&D

  • Update and refine tools and templates using AI and digital technologies/solutions

  • Key customer lead for development and continued improvement of Tools and Templates

  • Gather regular user feedback and performance data to assess effectiveness and usability of tools and templates

  • Liaise with Continuous Improvement & Process Management Leads to ensure that Tools & Templates support and are aligned with R&D and PM processes, portfolio and project governance forums

  • Liaise with GPLs, PMs, PSTs, TA Delivery Leads and Functional representatives to embed best practices, regulatory expectations (as required) and operational excellence into day-to-day project execution

  • Lead liaison with Technology Enabling Support (TES) for digital solution development and platform optimization

  • Drive adoption and consistent use of tools and templates across the R&D organization

  • Provide clear guidance on when and how to use tools across different project contexts supporting capability-building initiatives through workshops, training sessions, and communities of practice.

  • Monitor external trends, digital solutions and emerging best practices to modernize tools and ways of working

Your Qualifications & Experience

  • 10+ years in R&D Project Management, operations or equivalent

  • Experience working in cross-functional R&D teams

  • Established and credible strength in project management and training

  • In-depth knowledge in drug research and development of pharmaceuticals

  • An advanced degree in Science, Master of Business Administration (MBA), PMP certification, or equivalent is a plus

  • Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team setting, and to meet set goals by managing own timelines.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Demonstrated experience in development and implementation of tools/templates and frameworks for R&D PM operations

  • Familiarity with training systems, platforms and PM tools and systems
