This role is the single point of accountability for project governance, systems integrity, and performance transparency across our mission‑critical power generation and data centre projects.

Location - Role could be based in Melbourne or Sydney

What You’ll Lead

  • Lead project reviews, audits, and compliance checks.

  • Maintain alignment with Ethics, SOx, EHS, Quality, and Risk frameworks.

  • Engage internal and external stakeholders to support business success.

SAP Project Systems (PS) Ownership

  • Serve as the regional owner of SAP PS for project delivery.

  • Oversee accurate project setup, WBS structures, budgets, and baselines.

  • Lead forecasting (EAC/ETC), cost‑to‑complete tracking, and financial discipline.

  • Manage capitalisation, cost allocation, revenue recognition inputs, and variation control.

  • Partner with Finance, Controls, and IT to resolve data issues and enhance system performance.

  • Train and support Project Managers in SAP PS best practice.

Project Controls & Portfolio Performance

  • Implement integrated controls across schedule, cost, risk, and cash flow.

  • Align master schedules (MS Project/Primavera) with SAP PS.

  • Deliver consolidated reporting on margin, milestones, billing, cash flow, and backlog.

  • Proactively manage logistics‑heavy and technically complex OEM risks.

Data Centre & Standby Power Delivery

  • Provide governance for high‑capacity generator, switchgear, controls, and MV/LV system projects.

  • Support commissioning and IST activities.

  • Enable fast‑track Tier III/IV data centre delivery without compromising safety or compliance.

  • Lead PMO office staff including Document Control, Project Admin, and Scheduling.

Commercial & Contract Management

  • Ensure contractual obligations are reflected in project execution and SAP structures.

  • Govern variations, claims, and scope changes to ensure recoverability.

  • Support dispute resolution and claims preparation.

Capability Building & Continuous Improvement

  • Coach and mentor Project Managers, Engineers, and Coordinators.

  • Drive improvements in execution consistency, SAP PS utilisation, and PM discipline.

  • Capture and deploy lessons learned across the regional portfolio.

Stakeholder & Executive Engagement

  • Act as the senior PMO interface with regional/global leadership, customers, and cross‑functional teams.

  • Provide clear, executive‑level insights on project performance and risk.
