As a Contracts Manager , you will serve as a commercially-astute advisor, providing expert contract negotiation and risk management across the entire project lifecycle. Operating within a complex infrastructure and energy environment, you will act as a trusted partner to senior stakeholders, ensuring that our commercial interests are protected while fostering collaborative relationships with our clients and partners.
In this role, your time and impact will be focused across three core pillars:
Pre-Sale Strategy & Negotiation (50%): Lead the commercial review of tenders and contracts prior to execution. You will partner with Sales and Legal teams to draft, review, and negotiate terms that balance competitive edge with robust risk mitigation.
Internal Liaison & Governance (30%): Act as the critical "middle person" connecting sales, commercial, and project functions. You will ensure that construction contract matters are understood across the business and that risk transfer to subcontractors is managed effectively.
Project Execution & Dispute Resolution (20%): Provide ongoing support during project delivery. This includes managing contractual correspondence, amendments, and milestones, as well as leading resolution strategies for any contractual disputes or claims.

To be successful in this role you will need the following:
A Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, or Construction Management (or equivalent) is preferred.
Specialized training or a degree in Contract Law is highly desirable.
Infrastructure Expertise: A demonstrated track record in infrastructure, heavy industry, or similarly complex sectors where commercial goals must be balanced with legal risk.
Energy Sector Knowledge: Experience within the energy industry, particularly dealing with commercial and industrial (C&I) customers, will be viewed very favorably.
Contract Lifecycle Management: Proven experience managing the full lifecycle of complex contracts, from initial tendering through to close-out.
Stakeholder Influence: Demonstrated ability to act as a "trusted advisor" to senior management, providing clear analysis of risks and benefits.
