Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented Diesel Technician to join our high performing team in Carole Park, QLD.

In this role, you will complete repairs and rebuilds on engine products across all market segments (predominantly heavy diesel) in a service workshop under supervision

You will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Complete repairs and maintenance of heavy diesel products

  • Diagnose and repair engines

  • Disassemble, inspect, and clean engines and /or engine components

  • Engine rebuilding and reconditioning

  • Maintain work area and tools for cleanliness and proper operation

  • Assist with completion required documentation, such as work completed documentation, time sheets, warranty claims and quality forms, via handwritten forms or business system input screens

  • Ensure adherence to all relevant Health, Safety & Environmental policies, procedures and legislation and reports any issues / incidents to their supervisor

Additional Information:

  • Full Time / 38 hours per week

  • Rotational Shifts (Day/Afternoon)

  • Overtime as required – Penalty rates paid for all work above 38 hours

  • All your Safety equipment / PPE and uniforms are provided and laundered

  • Domestic Relocation from across Australia may be offered for the right candidate

  • Local Valid Drivers License

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Qualified - Heavy Vehicle Technician

  • Basic level of workshop or field service experience required

  • Basic level knowledge of and/or experience with engine products

  • Heavy Vehicle Experience preferred

  • HR License preferred

  • Diagnostics Application - Diagnoses faults using structured troubleshooting processes, service tools, and technical information to achieve effective repairs.

  • Electronic Service Tool Application - Utilises electronic service tools to diagnose issues, interpret results, and determine appropriate repair actions.

  • Engine Systems Interactions - Applies knowledge of engine and related systems to accurately diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues.

  • Product Repair and Maintenance - Performs quality repairs and preventative maintenance in line with technical standards, procedures, and customer expectations.

  • Service Documentation - Accurately records service activities, technical findings, and repair outcomes in business systems.

  • Technical Escalation - Effectively escalates complex technical issues while maintaining clear documentation and timely customer support.

  • Values Differences - Recognises and values diverse perspectives, backgrounds, and experiences to strengthen team and business outcomes.
