As a Senior Quality Engineer , you will be based in our Perth Master Rebuild Centre (MRC). You will be responsible for maintaining quality assurance systems, auditing and improvement of processes and facilitating continuous improvement. You will also oversee the HSE processes and systems within the MRC. This is a unique opportunity to join a high performing team.
About the role\:
- Ensure products and processes meet and exceed quality standards in the MRC
- Facilitate continuous improvement quality activities
- Lead audits of process and quality systems
- Lead change management activities
- Serve as a quality technical resource to other functional areas
- Manage any customer/supplier issues, defining root cause and permanent corrective actions
- Identify problems, prioritise actions and lead or participate in Six Sigma projects
About you\:
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering
- Proven experience in quality assurance
- A background with High volume automotive is highly desirable
- Previous experience with auditing and maintaining quality management systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a wider team
- Previous experience with HSE is highly advantageous
- Six sigma certification is highly desirable
