ABOUT THE ROLE
The Risk Analyst is responsible for supporting competitive tenders and non-standard residual value (RV) and maintenance requests through data analytics. The role will be required to provide technical support and guidance to the wider risk team and support the ongoing improvement to Custom Fleet’s risk models.
This role would ideally suit a graduate with a mathematical and statistics background.
As a Risk Analyst, you’ll make an impact though:
- Assist with tenders and nonstandard RV & maintenance requests and updating RV & maintenance models
- Developing portfolio reports and risk models (RV model and maintenance budget models)
- Extracting, manipulating, and analysing large volumes of data across multiple streams of risk including but not limited to RV and maintenance
- Reviewing RV models and maintenance models and investigate changes to improve model stability and performance and assisting with preparation of the RV and maintenance reviews
- Performing user acceptance testing of updated RV and maintenance grids in lease quoting and management system and supporting regular reporting requirements
ABOUT YOU
To be successful in securing a role with our crew it’s likely you’ll come with experience in the following areas:
- Degree qualified in data science, statistics, economics or engineering with a strong analytical/statistical and data management focus
- Analytical programming experience using languages such as SAS, R or Python
- Data manipulation experience using SQL
- Strong written and oral communications skills
- Strong Microsoft Office experience – specifically Excel and PowerPoint
