ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a Commercial Service Controller who is passionate about the fleet industry, customer service and is results orientated. As a Commercial Service Controller at Custom Fleet, you will play a critical role in supporting our maintenance fleet management operations across Australia and New Zealand. This position focuses on negotiating and authorising maintenance repairs, ensuring cost efficiency and delivering exceptional service to our clients and suppliers.
You will act as a subject matter expert for commercial fleet products and work closely with our supplier network, both internally and externally, to maintain high standards of performance and compliance.
Essential Duties:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
Issue work authorities to the AU/NZ national repairer network.
Negotiate repairs to maintain cost effectiveness and prevent unnecessary upsells.
Monitor and achieve KPIs, including call volumes and savings targets.
Maintain preferred manufacturer pricing and negotiate discounts where applicable.
Ensure vehicle warranties are adhered to and obtained where possible.
Process and approve maintenance invoices accurately and on time.
Monitor vehicle breakdowns and resolve KPI exceptions with service providers.
Other Duties:
Act as a subject matter expert for commercial fleet product offerings.
Support continuous improvement initiatives across the business.
Education & Experience:
Essential:
Motor industry trade qualification (essential).
Heavy vehicle and equipment knowledge.
Broad understanding of fleet management and leasing industry (preferred).
Other:
Experience in maintenance authorisation or repair cost negotiation.
Proficiency in using fleet management systems and Microsoft Office tools.

You thrive in a fast-paced environment and can build collaborative relationships with suppliers and internal teams. Reports to the Commercial Service Control Manager with indirect guidance from the Operations ANZ Director.
