As our new Credit Analyst, you’ll play a key role in safeguarding the quality of Custom Fleet’s portfolio. You’ll use your analytical skills to assess risk, support sustainable growth and ensure everything we do aligns with our credit principles and policies.
This role is all about balancing commercial thinking combined with quality, compliance and a strong customer experience. If you enjoy diving into numbers, spotting patterns and making sound recommendations you’ll feel right at home here.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Essential Duties
Conduct detailed financial analysis of customers seeking leasing and fleet management facilities. Assess risk profiles and cashflow trends to recommend structures that balance growth and risk.
Complete KYC and AML/CTF checks for new applications and periodic reviews in line with policy and regulatory requirements.
Manage your own portfolio of customers, completing annual financial reviews on time and identifying any changes in credit quality.
Proactively monitor customer funding requirements and arrange suitable facilities.
Support system processes, documentation, and data reconciliation, ensuring everything is accurate and up to date.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver thoughtful, customer‑centric solutions.
Other Duties
Pitch in with other tasks as requested by the Director Credit or Chief Risk Officer.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential
Clear, confident written and verbal communication, with the ability to produce well‑structured credit write‑ups.
Strong interpretation of financial statements and financial modelling skills, with an eye for detail and commercial sense.
Proficiency in MS Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Collaborative approach with the ability to build productive relationships across the organisation.
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Strong problem‑solving skills with a customer‑focused mindset.
Process‑driven approach, comfortable managing complex workflows.

Education & Experience
Essential
Degree in business or a related field is highly regarded (equivalent experience considered).
Minimum 5 years’ experience in risk, credit, or portfolio management within Financial Services, Professional Services, or Leasing.
Other
Commercial (business/corporate) credit experience is preferred over consumer credit.
Certifications such as CPA, CA, or CFA are a nice boost.
