ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking an Account Manager, within the Truck Plant & Equipment and Fleet Partnership Solutions areas of our business, who is passionate about the fleet industry, customer service and is results orientated. This role is responsible for providing support to the Relationship Manager to help drive achievement of customer retention, penetration, and growth goals. They build and maintain relationships with the customer by providing ongoing day to day account support, and contribute to a client’s ability to achieve goals, as well as Custom Fleet’s achievement of account retention and growth objectives.
Essential duties:
Prioritise and execute daily client requests including ordering, registration, inventory, reporting and communications.
Apply deep understanding of client fleet policies, pricing templates and ordering profiles.
Act as the first point of contact for client issues and collaborating with internal stakeholders to resolve.
Support Relationship Managers in identifying and delivering growth opportunities across products such as Telematics, Novated Leasing, Accident Management, Tyres & Maintenance and EVs.
Manage lease term deviations to optimise vehicle utilisation.
Deliver timely and accurate reporting and assist with Fleet Office training.
Ensure compliance with service level agreements and contribute to improved Net Promoter Scores (NPS).
Cross-department collaboration and support ESG initiatives.
Other duties:Build customer and supplier network, representing Custom Fleet at industry events.
Enhance our Environment, Social and Governance agenda to make a difference in sustainability, diversity & inclusion and satisfaction and safety.
Education & Experience
Essential:
2 to 5 years in Customer Service or Account Management, ideally in fleet or B2B environments.
Proven success in growing and retaining customer accounts.
Experience working cross-functionally to solve client issues.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
Exposure to sales processes, project support and product knowledge development.
Needs identification; used information to ensure customers real needs are addressed.
Experience driving operational excellence and has strong understanding of processes required to do so.
Intermediate to Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word & Excel.
Other:
Demonstrated B2B sales experience, preferably in fleet.
Ability to communicate complex concepts to suit diverse audiences.
Experience supporting sales initiatives and contributing to strategic planning.
Applied knowledge of company products and competitive differentiation.
