Salary: $125,000 – $130,000 per year

ABOUT THE ROLE
Ready to drive growth and make an impact? 'You will play a key part in shaping our success story contributing to our high performing Business Development Team, you will be the engine behind new business wins across Tool of Trade, Truck Plant & Equipment (TPE) and Novated Leasing.
Your mission? Plan, prospect and secure profitable opportunities, whether that is converting in-house fleets, winning share from competitors or diversifying our customer base. You will deliver a best-in-class experience that keeps our customers coming back for more.
This role is all about relationships, strategy and results. You will play a key part in shaping our success story.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential Duties
Hunt down new business opportunities and smash volume and profit targets.
- Build a strong pipeline of active opportunities across all segments.
- Self-generate leads through cold calling, networking and dealer and manufacturer partnerships.
- Respond to inbound leads from marketing campaigns and events.
- Prepare winning proposals, presentations and tender submissions.
- Showcase Custom Fleet’s full suite of products introducing ARC and Novated options.
- Keep Salesforce updated with accurate data and proactive opportunity management.
- Work collaboratively with the Implementation Manager to successfully onboard new clients and transition them to our dedicated Relationship Management Team.
Other Duties
- Support strategy to convert tiered accounts across Tier 1, 2 and 3.
- Maintain accurate customer profiles and prospective account details.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proposals and contracts hit the mark.

Essential
- Proven B2B sales success (Fleet experience a bonus!) with a knack for closing deals.
- Strong financial acumen and ability to simplify complex concepts for stakeholders.
- Skilled in proposals, tenders and contract negotiation.
- Confident presenter and relationship builder.
- A natural go-getter who thrives on hitting targets and making things happen.
Other
- Passion for fleet industry trends, EV transition and sustainable mobility.
- Competent with Salesforce.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Essential
- Degree in Business, Finance, or Legal.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
Other
- Experience developing electrification and decarbonisation strategies.
- Understanding of matrix management and cross-functional collaboration.
