ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced and highly capable Finance Director FP&A & Controllership to lead financial planning, performance management, statutory reporting and financial governance across ANZ.

This role plays a critical part in maintaining high‑quality financial reporting, embedding strong internal controls, ensuring regulatory compliance, driving robust forecasting and budgeting processes. You will partner closely with Executive leadership to enable insight‑driven decision‑making, promote financial discipline and support sustainable growth.

Essential duties:

  • Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning processes.

  • Align regional forecasts and reporting standards with global FP&A.

  • Ensure accurate and timely month-end, quarter-end and year-end close processes.

  • Strengthen financial control frameworks and compliance.

  • Lead end‑to‑end SOX compliance.

  • Oversee ICFR controls, risk assessments, documentation and remediation.

  • Govern balance sheet reconciliations and issue resolution.

  • Manage statutory reporting, external audits and financial statements.

  • Ensure compliance with IFRS/AASB.

  • Deliver monthly performance analysis and actionable insights.

  • Lead CAPEX benefit reviews and post‑investment assessments.

  • Maintain strong financial operating rhythms.

  • Oversee Payroll accuracy and controls.

  • Identify financial risks and opportunities.

  • Act as regional finance liaison for global initiatives.

  • Drive efficiencies using AI and automation.

Other duties:

  • Train, lead and support a high‑performing finance team.

  • Conduct 1:1s and team coaching rhythms.

  • Support recruitment and onboarding.

  • Collaborate cross‑functionally.

  • Champion a culture of Customer Centricity, Innovation, Accountability, Passion and Collaboration.

Education & Experience

Essential:

  • Tertiary qualifications in business/finance.

  • ICA, CA/CPA or equivalent.

  • 10+ years finance experience.

  • Experience presenting to Executives.

  • Experience with process improvement and automation.

Other:

  • Fleet industry experience desirable.

  • Knowledge of international reporting requirements.

  • Advanced modelling (Excel, BI tools).

  • Experience with ERP, consolidation tools and BI platforms.
