We are a crew of accountable go‑getters on a journey of continuous improvement – we collaborate and support each other, working hard to win for our customers, for our business, and for each other. Whilst winning isn’t everything, we’re proud of our success and love it when we reach the #1 spot.

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a highly strategic and commercially minded Commercial Finance Director to lead our organisation’s pricing strategy and drive sustainable profitability, competitive positioning and revenue growth across ANZ. This role has two direct reports and oversight of a broader team of eight whilst reporting to the Chief Financial Officer.

This role oversees pricing frameworks, margin management, commercial modelling and governance to ensure alignment with corporate strategy and risk appetite. A key focus of the role is also to lead and enhance the Modifications function, driving efficiencies, minimising revenue leakage and improving portfolio returns.

You will partner closely with Sales, Risk, Treasury, Finance and Executive leadership to ensure pricing outcomes are commercially sound, operationally scalable and support long‑term value creation.

Essential duties:

  • Develop and lead our organisation’s pricing strategy to support revenue growth and margin optimisation.

  • Conduct deal review and approval in line with approved pricing parameters.

  • Act as a key finance partner to provide strategic direction on pricing across renewals, new opportunities and complex commercial deals.

  • Establish pricing governance, discount structures and approval frameworks.

  • Monitor pricing performance and identify improvement opportunities.

  • Lead monthly calls with Sales to provide insights on profitability and deal trends.

  • Review portfolio performance to identify revenue leakage, pricing inconsistencies and margin erosion risks.

  • Oversee new contract implementation to ensure accurate translation of commercial agreements into operational setup.

  • Lead structured back‑testing of deal profitability, validating assumptions and identifying margin improvement opportunities.

  • Monitor pricing performance through KPIs, variance analysis and profitability reporting.

  • Lead the development of advanced pricing models using financial and operational datasets.

  • Implement and monitor adherence to controls across the Modifications process to minimise revenue leakage.

  • Drive incremental revenue through optimisation of lease modification opportunities.

  • Partner with Risk and Treasury to ensure appropriate risk‑adjusted returns.

  • Play a key role in setting Sales incentive plans and reporting.

  • Drive automation and enhancements to improve pricing accuracy and efficiency.

Other duties:

  • Ensure pricing and Modifications teams are trained and set up for success.

  • Conduct meaningful 1:1s and team rhythms.

  • Recruit, develop and retain high‑performing team members.

  • Support onboarding and training new hires.

  • Collaborate across the business to share best practice.

  • Lead and advocate a winning culture of Customer Centricity, Innovation, Accountability, Passion and Collaboration.

Education & Experience

Essential:

  • Tertiary qualifications in business or finance.

  • CA, CPA or equivalent.

  • 15+ years of finance experience.

  • Experience presenting to Executive management.

Other:

  • Knowledge of lease accounting is a plus.

  • Understanding of P&L and balance sheet.

  • Advanced modelling (Excel, BI tools).

  • Expertise in funding structures, cost of capital, interest rate modelling and Treasury alignment.
