The Opportunity
As a Senior Project Manager, you will take ownership of the end-to-end delivery of complex land development and infrastructure projects. You will act as a trusted advisor to clients, provide commercial and technical leadership across project teams, and contribute to the ongoing growth and capability of DCE’s Project Management group.
This role offers exposure to a diverse portfolio including industrial and commercial developments, master-planned residential communities, and major sporting facility redevelopments.
Key Responsibilities:
Own and lead the end-to-end delivery of projects from inception through to completion, ensuring outcomes are achieved across program, budget, quality, and risk
Act as the primary client relationship lead, managing Client PCG meetings and providing strategic advice throughout the project lifecycle
Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary design teams and subconsultants, from briefing through to delivery and close-out
Provide commercial oversight, including fee management, forecasting, variations, invoicing, and monthly financial reporting
Prepare, review, and manage tenders, contracts, cost estimates, reports, and site feasibility assessments
Proactively identify and manage project risks and opportunities, ensuring issues are addressed early and effectively
Support and mentor junior Project Managers and engineers, contributing to capability development within the team
Collaborate closely with Directors and senior staff to support repeat work, client relationships, and business growth
About You
Essential Skills & Experience:
Demonstrated 5+ years’ experience in Project Management within Land Development or a related field
Bachelor of Engineering (Civil), Diploma in Engineering or equivalent qualification
Strong commercial expertise with experience managing project finances and client expectations
Demonstrated ability to lead projects with a high degree of autonomy
Proven track record of building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, authorities, and stakeholders
Ability to interpret construction plans with a sound understanding of civil design and construction processes
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project)
