Position overview:
The Chief of Staff of Deloitte Digital Australia is an established role critical to the strategy and effective execution of the strategy of the business. It is part of the Deloitte Digital Leadership team and works alongside the Deloitte Digital Australia’s executive to define, design and drive the business’ growth strategy, acquisitions, transformation agenda and successful execution. This role sits at the core of the Australian business with access and exposure to local, regional and global leadership and offers unique career growth opportunities within the team and throughout the Deloitte network in Australia and globally.
As the Chief of Staff, you will be a strategic partner to the head of Deloitte Digital Australia providing sophisticated, senior-level support to help both design and execute the strategy of the practice. You will also ensure the Australian functions and business professionals are aligned to deliver exceptional service and to help transform the business of Deloitte Digital against its long-term ambitions. You will keep a track of the broader picture, acting as the eyes and ears and a sounding board for decision making for the Deloitte Digital Leader and Leadership Team. You will help improve operations and execute strategic business initiatives from ideation through to success.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic and analytical support to identify and support key strategic initiatives critical for the ongoing growth and success of the business
- Oversee strategic business initiatives from development through successful execution and socialisation under the guidance of senior leadership team
- Collaborate effectively with the Deloitte Digital leader and leadership team to quickly understand the business objectives and situational context and design strategic or operational solutions that drive growth
- Effectively manage senior stakeholders and communication requirements to enable decision-making, program management, and initiative implementation
- Build and maintain a network of relationships across peers and senior executive partners at Deloitte both within Australia as well as the region/globally.
- Support, define and deliver national practice operational strategies, processes, policies and guidelines through collaboration with senior leadership
- Build strong relationships and act as a liaison between team members and senior leaders regarding operational matters, strategic direction, relevant initiatives and priorities, team well-being, project updates
- Lead and develop the core team

As the Chief of Staff, you are considered a safe pair of hands who can support the Deloitte Digital leader and leadership team to high standards and in a timely manner.
You will be a passionate self-starter who is results-oriented and will take action to ensure obligations are met. You will value collaboration, bold thinking and will thrive working with a dynamic, creative and intelligent team. You are familiar and comfortable with ambiguity.
As well as this, you will have:
- University degree with outstanding academic record from a leading Australian or Overseas university or business school
- Strategic thinking, commercial acumen and an entrepreneurial mindset with analytical, design and strategic problem-solving skills to derive relevant strategic insight
- Demonstrable experience in business management or operations
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Excellent executive level stakeholder management, relationship development and influencing skills
- Demonstrated ability in building strong relationships and working within multi-disciplinary teams
- Proven experience in leading multiple priorities in parallel
- Self-motivated and experience leading and driving initiatives
- Well-developed workshop facilitation skills
- Understanding and/or experience within a professional services organisation
- Experience as a Chief of Staff is preferable
- Deloitte Flex does apply to this role, however a degree of in person interaction including travel for key events (e.g. leadership offsites) is required for success.
