Deloitte Managed Services (DMS) has varied roles from operational delivery, technical remediation work to technology innovation to support scalable remediation programs. No two days are the same but as an Operations Director in the DMS practice, you will both lead engagements and manage teams while also seeking out new opportunities in the market. You will work closely with Partners in designing, setting-up and delivery of the operational set up and infrastructure of a large-scale remediation project. You will provide senior operational leadership for the Program ensuring operational tasks are managed in budget and managed through the correct governance and operational process for resolution.
You will also be involved in:
- Taking the lead on the design and development of responses to client requests for proposals, including design of an operational approach, team co-ordination, and operational costing.
- Strategic delivery and management of a portfolio of projects across the lifecycle of an engagement
- Coaching team members, develop and upskill the wider team for operational excellence on the project.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you. You are someone with:
- Preferred background in Financial services industry, although not essential, with exposure to remediation, large scale operations, complaint handling, claims processing and conduct risk reviews in Australia preferred
- Strong Project Management Skills (input to the design of an operational approach, management of junior staff, client stakeholders, timely reporting to internal and client senior management from an operations perspective
- A strong sense of ownership, accountability and drive to deliver high quality outcome and a scalable operational delivery program
- Proven track record of developing and maintaining strong client relationships
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to use information to generate creative solutions to benefit the business and gain efficiencies within the operating model of the program
- Proficient understanding of current economic, regulatory and market trends relevant to the operations

The minimum salary requirement for this role is $150,000 including 10% superannuation.
