What will your typical day look like?

Your Test Analyst role will be fast paced, and there are opportunities to work on varied projects used by practitioners across Deloitte. Work with your project teams to deliver cutting edge technology, while being supported by the team in the Test Management Office. Be part of a team that adds value to solutions by providing testing services and test advisory services. There will be ample opportunity to use your automation skills to introduce quality assurance practices earlier in the project lifecycle.

Role Responsibilities

The key job responsibilities include the following:

• Work as a Test Analyst within the Deloitte Information Technology Services (ITS) team.
• Test applications across the enterprise, using a combination of manual and automation testing
• Prepare Test Plans and Test Cases, execute Test cases, report on test progress
• Define, monitor and report test metrics to project teams
• Undertake effective analysis and tracking of defects and subsequent retesting of the fixes.
• Work with stakeholders including Product owner, Project Managers, Architect and Developers to provide inputs to the testing processes in line with industry best practices
• Create/maintain test automation framework for end-to-end data verification
• Work on multiple projects at once; balance the workloads and deadlines for each project and help ensure both are successful.
• Build a robust and efficient test framework for testing the ingestion, processing, transformation, and storage of data.
• Flexibility required with working hours dependent on project delivery

About the team

The Test Management Office is a small team which offers functional and non-functional assurance functions, including system testing, integration testing, load / stress testing and IT performance management services. Its objective is to enhance the quality, availability, and performance of ITS supported systems. The team is distributed across different offices in Australia and offshore.

You are someone with:

• Up to 3+ years of experience in integration / regression testing
• Up to 3+ years of experience testing web based, multi-tier applications
• Experience with enterprise-scale, system integration program
• Experience in working with UI automation tools such as Katalon or Selenium is a must.
• Demonstrates a passion for testing and quality assurance with solid experience and knowledge of testing techniques.
• Proven experience to develop and execute test plans and test cases and prepare test summary reports.
• Demonstrated experience in implementing quality methods through effective tools and frameworks.
• Strong understanding of all testing phases.
• Strong understanding of both Agile delivery methods .
• Strong understanding of project management, scheduling concepts .
• Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills in assessing user, functional and technical requirements.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• Being a self-starter, able to work well in a team and autonomously.
