About the team
Welcome to the Financial Instruments team. Sitting under Audit & Assurance (A&A), we work with Deloitte’s A&A practice to provide services in audit, accounting and advisory. The Financial Instruments teams is a specialist group that services our practice nationally.
What will your typical day look like?
As a Financial Instrument specialist, you will get involved in all aspects of financial instruments from fair value to disclosures and everything in between. Furthermore, as a specialist team providing services nationally, there is diversity across all industries and entities from Australia’s largest publicly owned companies to private businesses. We are very much involved and contribute to the continuing development of workflow initiatives in conjunction with our quality and workflow leaders.

As our team experiences rapid growth, we are looking for talented candidates to join us at Experienced Analyst or Senior Analyst level who:
- Hold a professional qualification (or are working towards) CA, CPA and/or CFA
- Have experience in valuing complex financial instruments, knowledge in AASB 9, AASB 7 and AASB 13 and have applied this experience in an audit environment
