We are currently hiring Senior Manager - Enterprise Architecture level within our Technology Strategy and Transformation practice in Melbourne for the following areas of expertise:

What will your typical day look like?

As a Senior Manager – Enterprise Architecture within our Technology Strategy and Transformation practice, you will provide exceptional client experiences leading teams in applying our methodologies to deliver our core services. As a leader and role model, expect to:

• Build strong trusted client relationships through daily interaction with senior clients to deliver exceptional client experiences
• Analyse and understand our client’s business problems to advise and apply innovative and practical solutions
• Drive innovative designs for our clients
• Lead teams to deliver services in line with expected quality and financial expectations
• Foster and promote an environment of inclusion
• Manage day to day management of your teams including their professional development
• Consult with Deloitte leadership and broader Deloitte Health and broader network
• Build out your area of expertise through development of market eminence and internal coaching.

About the team

Our dynamic Technology team sits as part of a connected national and global team. It is responsible for answering the most challenging client problems: how can Technology strategy enable a business to deliver outcomes; how do we select and design technology to enable outcomes; how do we structure their enterprise and domain architecture functions; how to solve complex clinical, operational and technology problems; and how to execute technology-driven transformations. By joining our team you gain access to a network of local and global experts to answer our client’s problems and to grow you as a professional. In short, never expect a boring day in our Technology practice.

Enough about us, lets talk about you.

You are someone with 8+ years experience in a client facing/advisory role, either in-house or in a Consulting environment, in one or more of the following areas:

• Ability to translate business challenges into practical technology capabilities and communicate how technology provides solutions
• Experience delivering high quality, creative and insightful technology advice
• Prior IT Advisory experience within a Consulting environment or context highly desired
• Demonstrable experience in mentoring and coaching a team of junior members
• Experience managing clients, complex projects, drive business requirements gathering, managing scope and client expectations
• Experience managing senior stakeholders with strong written and verbal communications skills and possess a thirst for knowledge whilst seeking out innovative solutions.
• Passionate about IT Strategy, Innovation, Architecture and Emerging Technologies
• Experience in designing, implementing, and managing architecture governance including but not limited to solution architecture, enterprise architecture, framework customisation and defining architecture principles and guardrails
• Certification or experience applying TOGAF or other architecture methodologies (preferred)

Previous IT consulting experience is preferred but not essential. We will consider applicants with a background in technology and architecture roles looking for a career change into consulting.
