As part of our Deloitte Digital practice, the Customer Strategy & Design (CSD) team is on a mission to ground strategy in deep customer insights and use human-centred design to connect businesses with the people they service and give companies that all important edge.

About the role
As a UX Designer within the CSD team, you'll be welcomed into Australia’s largest UX team that are laser-focused on shaping Australia’s next generation of digital experiences across a broad range of products and services. Whether it be finding the right problem to tackle, exploring ideas for how to solve complex design challenges or refining ideas into a coherent build-ready solution, no day will look the same.
Our UX Designers carry out research, brainstorming, sketching, prototyping, and collaboration with software engineers to design great digital products. We are empathetic user advocates and respect our users’ opinions through interviews, usability testing, and data analysis, as well as wireframing and journey mapping to show the different stages that customers go through. You will work in multidisciplinary teams across a variety of subject matters and business units, and contribute to business development, practice development, culture and growth.

Passionate about design. You may have a tertiary education in a design related field and are passionate about creating intuitive interfaces using Figma (this is a plus!) that delight end-users and solve business problems.

Our Customer Strategists helps clients make a set of choices which define their ambition, focus, value proposition, capabilities and initiatives to set them up for success, empowering them to achieve their corporate ambition and drive customer outcomes. Our offering spans from defining the vision, to discovering the current ways of working, designing the ideal future state and determine what is required to achieve and deliver a leading, innovative and human-centred customer experience.
Experience Design
Our Experience Designers help clients define and design how an experience unfolds over time by leveraging human-centred design and strategic thinking. By considering the end-to-end journey from the perspective of the customer and business, we're able to improve the interaction between service provider and its customers - to ultimately increase the value of the service or product.
