What will your typical day look like?
You’ll provide key insights for client consulting and implementation projects in valuations, capital management, modelling implementations, experience investigations and other appointed actuary service offerings. You’ll provide quality advice that improves business outcomes for our clients and enables them to achieve their strategic goals. The diversity of work available across the firm ensures the activities of each consultant are interesting and challenging.
About the team
Our Actuaries & Consultants are recognised for providing clients with a full range of advisory and consulting services. We work with some of Australia's major financial services institutions as well as government. We’ve achieved significant growth over recent years creating excellent opportunities to join our team.
Role Responsibilities
- The application of investment principles and techniques
- The development and application of financial modelling skills
- Analysing data, and identifying and communicating key insights
- Supporting senior colleagues with advice on investment-related engagements
- Managing client projects, together with preparing and presenting results
- Overseeing, leading, and mentoring junior team members
- Build and manage trusted client relationships

You’re someone with:
- A relevant tertiary qualification and prior actuarial experience within professional services focused on Financial Services (Superannuation or Insurance)
- Demonstratable understanding of actuarial methodologies, financial modelling, and regulatory standards
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and communication skills
- The ability to work effectively in a team environment and prioritise work autonomously
- A willingness and desire to work on client projects across multiple sectors as needed, adaptable to a continuously changing environment
