This is an exciting opportunity to act as a Senior Manager in charge and join our team of External Auditors based in Perth. Our team is continuously growing as our clients recognise the impact we make – that’s why we need you!

We are a growing team due to our exposure to the booming resources sector in Western Australia. Most of our clients are from the mining and oil & gas sectors and the rest are from a variety of sectors such as retail, construction, and education. We have a diverse team of experts where you will create lifelong relationships. You will also have the opportunity to work on PCAOB and US GAAP engagements.

The Perth location is well known for its fantastic weather, thriving job market, exquisite WA beaches, and endless outdoor activities and parks.

What will your typical day look like?

Working under our Audit & Assurance business unit, you are motivated by achievement and will primarily manage client relations. Our clients come from reputable listed and private backgrounds across a variety of industries. You will assist with presentations to clients and support the marketing team with new initiatives. You will also oversee the completion of engagements, provide support and training on technical issues/methodologies, budgeting, fee negotiation, and manage deadline constraints.

This will be a rewarding position as you will use your leadership skills and gain exposure to different business environments and a range of high profile and complex accounting issues. Your need for continuous development will be met and set you on the path to advancement to a Director/Principal level position. As the world has recognised the importance of reliable financial information, this is your time to become a trusted advisor for our clients.

You are someone with:

  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in External Audit with managerial experience
  • Possess a CA qualification (or similar)
  • Possess a bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting/Commerce or a related field
  • Professional services experience gained in a Big 4 or mid-tier firm (preferable)
  • Exposure to a variety of industries – we have a diverse client base!
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, leadership, and multitasking skills
