About the role
This role is part of a new agile function we are establishing within our Operations team. The team will be deployed to support key strategic functions and high priority projects on a demand and capacity basis. Work will include deployments such as:
- Markets Pillar – Driving local BD and growth objectives as well as executing events that enhance the eminence of Deloitte and create opportunities for engagement with the key influencers.
- Working in the Agency Pillar – to enable quality digital channel planning, publishing and delivery to bring Deloitte’s marketing campaigns to life
- Working in Issues and Solutions Pillar - to deliver large strategic value propositions and signature campaigns to market;
- Working alongside our Sector marketing teams - to drive the objectives for relevant sector portfolio;
- Delivering Relationship Programs - professional development and networking experiences to create and nurture key relationships.
- Client Pillar - Delivering Account Management and priority client programs.

- The Marketing Communications and Business Development (MCBD) function at Deloitte drives and delivers programs, campaigns and other marketing activities that activate the firm’s Client’s, Industries and Markets (CI&M) strategy.
- The Marketing Performance and Resourcing team provides functional and strategic facilitation to enable and empower the wider marketing team to work optimally. Marketing Performance and Resourcing deliver practical support in the areas of campaign planning, performance and ROI; staff planning; resource management; tactical resource deployment; digital transformation, reporting and insights.
Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
Planning & enablement
- Support Campaign project management, including identification of barriers to delivering and implementation of associated solutions.
- Assist to gather, develop & analyse insights on market / sector / clients / competitors to inform strategy.
- Support the delivery of strategy & planning workshops.
- Contribute to the development the communication and engagement of strategies
- Point of contact with MCBD enablement teams to support campaign delivery
- Support performance and reporting requirements, communication, and key presentations.
- Maintain project change records in MCBD project management system by preparing, entering, and editing scopes of work
Marketing & Business Development:
- Contribute to development of campaign briefs based on overarching campaign objectives
- Liaison with supply side resources for execution of campaign deliverables
- Support and in some cases lead end-to-end BD and marketing campaign management and execution.
- Contribute to the delivery of internal communications
- Enable high-quality digital channel publishing on Deloitte’s website and social channels and assist with channel optimisation and health
- Support the development of thought leadership and eminence activities.
Collaboration:
- Share knowledge and collaborate across respective communities
- Build relationships with peers.
- Contribute to other projects and initiatives across MCBD as required.
- Drive best practice sharing; Share insights, case studies, and bring key learnings to team
Enough about us, let’s talk about you.
You are someone who has:
- Minimum 3 years in a similar generalist marketing role with event management experience is desirable.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent work experience.
- Experience publishing website content on AEM or equivalent, and on social media channels via Sprinklr or equivalent highly regarded
- Ability to influence and gain support from internal and external stakeholders to achieve outcomes.
- Ability to manage timelines, manage multiple priorities, report on results and draft post implementation reviews
- Experience working within a matrix organizational structure with a persistent focus on client service (both internal and external)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to clearly articulate ideas and present concepts convincingly to a range of audiences.
