Responsibilities
As an Assistant Business Accountant with DHL Supply Chain, your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Review and evaluate billing data from transport management system.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure billing accuracy
- Responsibility for invoices issued and distributed in an accurate and timely manner
- Review credit requests and process credit notes after approval
- Review and liable for monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Support month end customer P&L review process.
- Taking part in systems and process improvement initiatives
- Ad hoc analysis
Requirements
- 3 years accounting working experience.
- Supply Chain/Logistics working experience will be advantage but not essential.
- Advance computer software skills, especially excel
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles
- Excellent and effective communication skills with external and internal stakeholders
- Excellent time management and organisational skills to work in a busy environment
- Problem solving and analytical skills with high attention to detail
- Tertiary qualification in accounting and/or finance related discipline
- Completed or commencing CPA/CA qualification
