As part of your role as a Workcare Injury Management Consultant, you will develop relationships with internal and external customers, whilst providing support to the DHL WorkCare team.
Responsibilities
- Identify & provide timely intervention strategies to address reported injuries.
- Manage the injury management process
- Assist with a safe and sustainable return to work in a timely manner for an injured worker
- Maintain accuracy of claims filing of records and the claims management system
- Advise & assist management through the injury management, claims and rehabilitation process
- Authorisation of rehabilitation providers to be used on a claim
Requirements
- 2 - 5 years experience in a claims and return to work management role
- Proficient in problem solving, communicating
- Experience using Excel
- Knowledge of the SRC Act
- Able to analyse facts and make decisions
- Excellent communication skills, business acumen and work ethic
- Recognition as competent in managing workers compensation claims
