As an Operations Manager at DHL, you will oversee a large and diverse team with a focus on safety, planning, development and resolving logistical challenges. Whilst ensuring warehouse operations run smoothly, you will manage, develop and grow customer relations. Utilise your experience to lead a committed team to achieve success and grow your career.
Duties will include:
- Manage and control cost effective operations for the customer
- Promoting a safe working environment with a lead from he front attitude
- Ensuring customer satisfaction through excellent service delivery
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customer and stakeholders, both internal and external
- Maintain location and inventory accuracy and increase productivity streams
- Ensure customer's annual business plan including revenue, profit and service levels are met and correct action is taken to rectify

To be successful in this role you will have:
- Solid experience within Supply Chain/Logistics
- Superior knowledge of warehouse operations within a 3PL environment
- Experience managing large teams with strong leadership experience
- Exceptional end to end knowledge of Supply Chain Operations with a strong background in labour planning, cost management and improvement opportunities
- Excellent people management skills with the ability to influence across a broad spectrum of internal and external stakeholders
- Outstanding customer relationship attributes and a strong customer service focus
- Highly developed conflict resolution and negotiation skills
- Strong experience with WMS
