As an Operations Manager at DHL, you will oversee a large and diverse team with a focus on safety, planning, development and resolving logistical challenges. Duties will include:

• Manage and control cost effective operations for the customer
• Promoting a safe working environment with a lead from he front attitude
• Ensuring customer satisfaction through excellent service delivery
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customer and stakeholders, both internal and external
• Maintain location and inventory accuracy and increase productivity streams
• Ensure customer's annual business plan including revenue, profit and service levels are met and correct action is taken to rectify

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Solid experience within Supply Chain/Logistics
• Superior knowledge of warehouse operations within a 3PL environment
• Experience managing large teams with strong leadership experience
• Exceptional end to end knowledge of Supply Chain Operations with a strong background in labour planning, cost management and improvement opportunities
• Excellent people management skills with the ability to influence across a broad spectrum of internal and external stakeholders
• Outstanding customer relationship attributes and a strong customer service focus
• Highly developed conflict resolution and negotiation skills
• Strong experience with WMS
