Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, you will be an integral part of the HR team. You will play a key role with the payroll system and supporting the greater HR team, along with other adhoc projects as required.
In this role you need to be an excellent communicator, able to effectively work in a fast paced and dynamic environment managing multiple tasks at one time. Ideally you will have worked in a similar environment or role previously.
Please note, you will be required to travel interstate, between NSW and VIC, frequently.
This is a Fixed term contract of up to 16 months.
The Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Payroll Specialist to support the DHL Supply Chain in a brand new project. You will be responsible to help integrating a new organisation to our DHL HR Systems, along with supporting their current payroll systems. Other responsibilities include:
- High volume payroll processing for employees on a weekly/monthly basis
- Ensure compliance is followed (e.g. data accuracy – pay & charge rates, employee positions, processes etc.)
- Providing analytical expertise of HR and payroll data
- Full understanding of Australian employment and wage review
- Align all process changes with regional HR office and payroll teams
- Support with migration of systems, projects and engagement activities
- Support the integration of 800+ employees to DHL payroll system
Who you are:
- Strong experience of payroll systems and/or payroll administration - knowledge of Kronos and Oracle systems ideal
- Strong experience with HR Information Systems
- Experience with HR systems data migration and reporting
- Firm understanding of Australian employment and wage laws
- Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience
- Superior Microsoft Office knowledge
