Join our Finance Team!

As a Senior Financial Accountantwithin DHL Supply Chain, you will utilise your extensive accounting background and expertise to ensure financial compliance and drive the success of the business. Your duties will include:

  • Provide monthly reconciliations and backup of all Balance Sheet Accounts for each Group Company
  • Preparation of Monthly Management Accounts.
  • Computation and Reconciliations of all balance sheet Leave Provision Accounts.
  • Preparation of Statutory Reports including FBT, BAS and Payroll Tax
  • Primary contact for all external auditors, for both interim and full year audits
  • Completing Annual Workcover Reporting and Reconciliations by state
  • Administration of the Corporate Online Banking Platform.
  • Maintenance of the General Ledger, ERP Tree Structure and cost centres
  • Driving Improvements in efficiencies and effectiveness of Finance Systems

Essential skills and experience to be successful in this role:

  • CPA or CA Fully Qualified Accountant
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role in medium to large organisation
  • Advanced Excel Skills including Macros, Pivot Tables, various charts and V-lookups
  • Highly numerate and process driven
  • Previous experience within the Transport or Supply ChainIndustry is advantageous
  • Have a positive “Can Do” attitude
