Your role in our team
You will be joining a supportive, professional and high-performing team. Your strong communication skills will help you build relationships with a variety of stakeholders across our diverse and fast-paced organisation. Your key responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
- Develop and run updated manual handling training programs for all workers nationally as required
- Support training and induction initiatives
- Conduct workplace risk assessments, inspections of sites and develop recommendations, and injury analysis projects
- Support site managers with their implementation of the WHS management system
- Complete ongoing review and improvement of the overarching WHS Management System including policies and procedures
- Facilitate rehabilitation, musculoskeletal and functional assessment of injured workers, including workplace assessments and task analysis
- Develop and teach individualised pre-warm up programs for workers nationally
- Assist with implementation of early intervention programs
To be successful in this role you will have
- 3+ years experience in injury prevention and rehabilitation in a sports or workplace environment
- Experience within the supply chain and logistics industry is desirable but not essential
- Current and valid Australian drivers license
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability and preparedness to travel across national locations as required
- Tertiary level qualifications in Health Sciences, Human Movement, Sport Science, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy or Exercise Physiology (Cert IV in fitness and Athlete Well-being are also acceptable)
- Cert IV, or Diploma in WHS is desirable but not essential
