We have an exciting opportunity for a Customs Broker to join our DHL Global Forwarding Team based in our Perth, WA office. This is a full-time opportunity reporting directly to the Ocean Freight CDZ Manager.

Overall Role Purpose
As a Customs Broker you will be responsible for:
- Supports the CDZ Manager in CDZ operations such as tax and duty declaration.
- Acts as Liaison with Custom Authorities and administration matters.
- Acts as key contact for allocated customers.
- Check, lodge and pay Customs entries.
- Assist Classifiers / Compilers with entry preparation, queries, etc.
- Arrange Barrier Clearances.
- Ensure customs entries are completed in a timely manner.
Skills / Qualifications
- Minimum two (2) to five (5) year’s experience in the freight forwarding industry and/or customs industry.
- Possesses relevant Customs qualification – ACS licence. (Mandatory requirement)
- Previous experience in Shipping/International freight forwarding industry in airfreight and/or ocean-freight / Import operational roles (advantageous)
- Relevant Tertiary qualification i.e. Bachelor’s Degree in Management, Logistics, or Industry related fields. (Advantageous)
