The position
This position sits within the Resource Tenure Division, who are responsible for administering the granting of tenure for resource exploration and production, and facilitating access to land for resource activities.
This position leads a team of officers responsible for providing administrative services in the organisation and management of all functions of the Perth Wardens Court, and the coordination of assessment and determination of mineral title applications.
You will provide daily supervision of staff in Perth to ensure effective and efficient application processing within established timeframes in compliance with legislation. You will also provide support to the regional Resource Tenure offices in relation to Warden’s Court dealings and procedures as required. Your ability to provide guidance and coaching to team members in Perth and in Regional offices dealings and procedures would be highly desirable.
As a team leader you will also manage cases of complex tenure matters, provide advice recommendations and support to the managers in respect to timely processing of court proceedings matters arising from Warden’s Court decisions.
This role also undertakes long distance drives to remote locations as required.
This position is located in East Perth.
