The position
The position sits within our Petroleum and Energy Compliance Branch in the Resource and Environmental Compliance Division. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and approving reservoir engineering aspects of petroleum, geothermal and carbon dioxide geosequestration activities and prepare quality technical reports in accordance with legislation, good oil field practices, industry standards and practices and approved procedures and conditions.
In addition, you will assist in determining remaining reserves and production profiles and assess production performance of oil and gas fields by operators and assist with compliance checks of production, injection and utilisation data and conduct petroleum production analysis.
This positions is located in East Perth (however, you may be required to work at other sites as required), conveniently close distance from public transport and nearby City of Perth parking. You will also enjoy onsite lifestyle facilities, including bike lockers, fully equipped change rooms and personal lockers.

- A Bachelor of Engineering Degree in a related discipline.
- Demonstrated current technical knowledge and experience in petroleum reservoir engineering; experience in reservoir dynamic model development, would be regarded favourably.
